About the program

Free data skills training for all Nepalis

We are pleased to announce that applications are open for Code For Nepal Data Fellowship. The objective of this fellowship organized by Code for Nepal with support from DataCamp Donates is to help anyone, especially those who cannot afford DataCamp subscription, build their data skills and make progress in their lives.

Applications open: June 1st, 2026 (Rolling basis)

We are grateful to DataCamp for donating access to their expert-led data skill training. DataCamp offers online training for all data skills and levels, from non-coding essentials for business to data science and machine learning, all taught by leading experts in the field. DataCamp is used by 6,000+ companies such as Google, Uber, PayPal and others to build skills of their employees.

Who is eligible to apply?
Any Nepali is welcome to apply — whether you're a student, working professional, or someone looking to change careers. No prior data experience is required; we welcome complete beginners.
Is the fellowship really free?
Yes! The Data Fellowship is completely free, thanks to DataCamp Donates. Fellows receive full access to DataCamp's premium platform at no cost.
How long is the fellowship?
The fellowship is self-paced. Fellows are expected to complete at least one DataCamp track within a few months. Most fellows complete the program within 3–6 months.
What data skills can I learn?
DataCamp offers courses across Python, R, SQL, data visualization, machine learning, AI, data engineering, and business analytics. You choose the track that best fits your goals.
Do I need to be in Nepal to participate?
No! The fellowship is fully online and open to Nepalis worldwide — whether you're in Nepal or part of the diaspora abroad. All you need is internet access.
